Current Status of Statue

As a result of Michael’s trip, he decided to begin again with a fresh approach to a new clay sketch. We are pleased with his decision and are hopeful about the new, impending work.

May 2019

Trip to Russia

Michael Hall’s trip to Russia May 11-22, to Saratov and Yekaterinburg, was very useful.  He taught at a museum in Saratov, then flew to Yekaterinburg. Anatoly Tischenko and Michael toured several foundries and found one they both preferred.

Launch Event

On April 26, 2019, on the campus of Dixie State University, we shared in the launch of the joint American-Russian venture to erect a family statue in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
